Can't see "Alerts" using desktop Chrome

The title says it all. Using Chrome on a desktop PC, when I click on the Alerts bell I see an empty triangle. If I disable uBlock Origin it doesn't help. There may be another extension interfering, but I haven't completely troubleshot the problem yet.

I don't have the problem on desktop Firefox, or any mobile browser I've used (Chrome, Firefox, and Brave).

Sorry for complaining about such a minor thing. This is a great forum.

This here says it's a local issue.
You may disable all extensions first and see if it resolves it. Or clear your cookies and cache.
