Unsecure Login Page

I noticed a couple months ago that the login page is not encrypted or maybe a recent FireFox update, finally pointed out to me, that the login page for this site, might have never been had a "https" address. Is there anyway we can get this changed? Even websites with no stored sensitive information have a secured login system.
