I "trained" a small Yulia Nova model https://tensor.art/models/687241441040329954. I'm an amateur when it comes to neural network, but it already looks fine. I think someone else could easily create a much better model or use better prompts.

I trained on about 20 images in total. There is a complete beginner like me who can achieve such a result in a couple of hours, what can an experienced user do ?
P.S. animation is rough but it turned out better than expected for the first time

Not in that short a time frame, no. Video is still a long ways off, with even the best examples using Sora having wonky animations of people phasing through solid objects and items popping in and out of existence. Not to mention there's no sound. We still haven't completely figured out the far easier task of images. Most models still suck at making hands and holding objects realistically. Prompt adherence has gotten better over time but still needs a lot of work. Genitalia is still bad even with loras. X-rated images are even worse.

It'll be fascinating to find out.

I remember looking at cutscenes in PS1 games and thinking 'Imagine if the in-game graphics ever got that good'. By the time the PS2 came out it had already surpassed that level. Compared to PS5 it's not even in the same universe.

One thing that will almost certainly happen is that as soon as a model posts some nude pictures of herself AI will be able to generate unlimited images of her.

The tricky thing will be video because it requires such realistic motion. However, some of the AI videos are already really good so I can't see why it won't happen.

Part of me feels like it will always be possible to tell it's not real but that doesn't stop us enjoying video games or CGI in movies. Maybe it will be real enough for us to suspend our disbelief and that will be good enough.
