To Watch an entire sub-forum, just click the button.

Then, in the Popup Window,
decide if you want Notifications (select either New threads, or New messages). And, if you want E-mail notifications, on top of Alerts. Click the Watch button.
Now, while this is the easiest way to get Alert/E-mail Notifications of updates, it is also the worse, as you are notified of every New Thread/Topic, and Updated Posts made.
So, for many, this is probably not be the ideal choice.
However, by Watching specific threads,
select your option,
and Click the Watch button.
Now, how can you see a Listing of all your Watched threads?
At the top of the page (does not matter if you are on the Main Index page, or in a thread), thre is a Hyper-link entitled, Watched,
just click that link, and a list of all Watched threads will appear. And, any thread with a new post will be in Bold Text.
