Well, really, the difference is that an M cup in the US is exactly the same as a J cup in the UK. Cup size is not a universal measure. It's actually meaningless without the band size. She is wearing a UK brand in a 40J, so assuming the tag is showing UK measurements, she would be a 40M in US measurements. I don't think she looks it, either, but that's the evidence we have, so far.
